Conduct raw casting, in-process, and final machining inspections as per engineering drawings and quality control standards.
Prepare ballooning drawings and detailed Quality Inspection Reports (QIR) for machined foundry components.
Read, interpret, and analyze complex mechanical 2D engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and dimensional tolerance limits.
Accurately operate precision measuring instruments including Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, and Plug/Thread Gauges.
Identify casting defects (porosity, blowholes, shrinkage, mismatch) and machining flaws; coordinate with shop floor teams to enforce corrective measures.
