Supervise day-to-day melting and liquid metal pouring operations for investment casting molds using medium-frequency induction furnaces.
Monitor chemical composition, furnace charge mix, deoxidation, slag removal, and tap-and-pour temperature parameters.
Direct and guide furnace operators and helpers during charging, melting, temperature measurement, and ceramic mold pouring cycles.
Collect liquid metal spectro samples to verify chemical compliance prior to mold pouring.
Coordinate with QA/QC metallurgical teams and production heads to ensure high structural casting integrity and eliminate porosity or inclusion defects.
Enforce safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, and high-heat safety procedures across the melting shop floor.
