Manage end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) projects for Cast Iron (CI) and Spheroidal Graphite (SG) iron casting components.
Interpret client technical engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and evaluate casting metallurgy, shrinkage allowances, and gating/risering designs.
Coordinate with pattern makers, tool rooms, and foundry core shops to ensure accurate pattern development, core box fabrication, and mould preparation.
Plan and execute pilot sample casting trials, supervise initial pouring runs, and inspect prototype castings for dimensional and metallurgical accuracy.
Maintain complete NPD documentation including Feasibility Reports, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, PPAP dossiers, and coordinate sample approvals with clients.
