Lead in-process and final dimensional quality inspection of raw and machined Cast Iron (CI) and Spheroidal Graphite (SG) iron castings.
Operate and handle all precision measuring instruments including Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and thread gauges to verify specifications against engineering drawings.
Inspect castings for common foundry defects such as blowholes, shrinkage, porosity, sand inclusions, and surface irregularities.
Maintain daily quality inspection reports, rejection logs, and non-conformance records (NCR) for shop-floor production batches.
Coordinate directly with production and foundry supervisors to address recurring quality issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain zero-defect dispatch standards.
