Conduct stage-wise quality inspections (in-process machining, visual checks, and final pre-dispatch inspection) for precision automotive parts across rotational Day/Night shifts.
Use precision measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify dimensions against engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Identify component defects, non-conformances, and surface imperfections; segregate rejected parts and report quality deviations to the shift supervisor.
Prepare daily inspection reports (DIR), first-piece inspection records, and shift handover logs.
Maintain strict quality control documentation and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the shop floor.
